Synthetics are pre-war robotic units still operational in the Wendover region. Unlike the hostile NPC robots encountered in the wastes, these are player-controlled units - each with distinct chassis, built-in armaments, and specialized roles. All Synthetic roles require whitelist approval and are species-locked to their corresponding robot chassis.

Synthetics cannot pick up or equip conventional firearms. Their armament is integrated into their chassis and cannot be changed.

All Synthetic jobs require whitelisted: true status and restrict the player to robot-specific species and customization.

Borg Modules

Synthetics carry integrated modules that define their utility beyond combat:

Module Function
Integrated Hand-Laser Semi-auto laser, 9 capacity, rechargeable
Plasma Caster Plasma projector, internal battery, self-recharging

Hostile NPC Robots

The Wasteland is home to many hostile NPC robots that are not player-controlled. These are pre-war units whose programming has degraded into permanent hostility. They belong to the HostileRobot NPC faction and attack on sight.

Protectron Police 100 Hand-Laser (9 cap) Ranged, slightly more dangerous
Mr. Handy (Claw / Saw / Gun) 100 Claw / Saw / Hand-Laser Three variants, domestic-speed
Mr. Gutsy 100 Plasma Caster (9 cap) Military variant, same HP as Mr. Handy
Assaultron 200 Claw (15 slash) Fast (3.0/6.0), melee-focused
Eyebot 100 Hand-Laser (9 cap) Fast scout, plays ambient music
